Where to eat in Pristina, Kosovo *FREE GUIDE*

I had the opportunity to spend two years living in the capital city of Kosovo, Pristina.

The move to Pristina was the first time I’d ever traveled to that part of the world—the Balkans. Pristina is well positioned to access many other Balkan countries in just a short drive. In two years, I was able to visit many neighboring countries and discover new gastronomic traditions.

Balkan gastronomy is incredibly meat-centric. It is an understatement to say that my meat consumption increased significantly during my time here. In my guide, I list both traditional restaurants and some of the few places that offer plant-based options.

Pristina is a small city, as are its food options. Apart from traditional Balkan cuisine, Pristina offers limited food options. However, this is slowly changing as more and more foreigners arrive in the city for travel and work. Despite this, traditional experiences consistently promise superior flavors to any restaurant offering international cuisine.

In this short video, I share just a few of the restaurants that I frequented. Check out my free guide, in which I share many more recommendations, from restaurants to cafes to places to go out at night. You will find all of my insights from two years of eating and drinking my way through the city.
